Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND | Bought a 22-1/2 ft 10-20 with the 1.5 inch system this fall, the price was very right so we bought it in spite of the badly worn cutting parts. It cut peas well and was fair in soybeans if the straw /vines were dry.
Was at the dealer today looking to replace at least the badly worn bottom guards, parts guy quoted $900 for just the bottom guards. Had him price a new SCH 3 inch cutting kit which was about $1500. We really like the cutting and durability of the SCH system on our 925F Deere header, so right or wrong, we ordered the SCH system. |
