You mize well figure on snap wring pliers being disposable no matter what brand you buy. Those aggravating bastard's will break on you when you need them the most! That being said I have had better luck with MATCO snap ring pliers but they have been getting warn out as of lately and we don't have a dealer for them anymore. I bought a set of ARMSTRONG from Fastenal a while back and they seem to be ok. I have a sneaking suspicion that the Matco pliers I had were made by Armstrong but I don't know.
I think I gave about $275 for the snap wring pliers set from Fastenal, and I think there are around 10 pliers in there of various sizes and angles. They do not go big enough to suit my fancy but close. I have tried the pliers with the multiple tips on them and I just haven’t had any luck. Jon
