SC Iowa | believe I have read where termination notice before Sept 1 is only needed on Iowa farms greater than 40 acres...
For less than that, landlord can give 30 days notice
So, perhaps your landlord is not operating outside the scope of law
And always a good reason to keep the lines of communication open when considering the purchase of inputs for a rental property, especially smaller than 40 acres..
