The efficiency of using a internal combustion engine to drive an aeration fan would be greatly improved if you captured the heat from the motor and directed it through the fan. This way, almost all of the BTUs in the fuel used will go to drying the grain. The problem with doing this, is keeping the exhaust and the crankcase ventilation gases out of the air stream.
