I don't know about the rest of the country but where I travel and grow crops in the SE US there's a fairly good network of underground pipelines for distribution. Here in AR they're installing a 36" main going just N of my office and we already have total irrigation engines set up with it. I hated it at first but grew to love it afterward when the meth heads couldn't steal it. I've already asked some of the same questions here about using it in my forklifts because I have a 6" sub-main 10' from my packinghouse. So of the wise men on NAT told me what it would take to switch from LPG to natural with my lifts and we'd need a high pressure pump and containers to switch over. I was wanting to do this instead of having to remember to order 1,000 gal per week of LPG when the sub main was right there. After pricing the cost to do this I could pay an amigo to set there and monitor how much LP we had every minute and do nothing else and be money ahead.
