Manitoba | A 3 pin weather pak would not mate with the extensions nor the original cable. Are you sure the cultivator side has a weatherpak?
The main part of the console harness would be the trailer type as you described and the flow meter end would be the round 3 pin plug. On the Implement side there is the trailer type plug and a weatherpack connector. Like you said the two are not capable of being mated together. I am not familiar with these controllers so was not sure if these two connectors were even needed. The tag on the cable itself is old and damaged so the only numbers that I can retrieve from it are 14940.
This set up is a used one and I am begining to think that there is a section missing from this cable setup.
