Subject: RE: Disc mower

I would go with a New Holland. The NH has individual modules, so on a hill side, all of the oil doesn't go to one side of the cutter bar. Your size depends on the tractor you have, and the conditions you plan on mowing. Also New Holland has just introduced a new hub that can be installed on the cutter bar. This hub is designed to shear if the turtle contacts a hard object. What this means then, if you hit a rock, post, etc. the hub will, shear protecting the module from damage. This hub can be replaced in about 5 minutes. You never know what you will run into in those ditches.
