Central Kansas | You try that yourself and get caught and you'll be in the "slammer" for the rest of your life! PERMITS,PERMITS, PERMITS are the order of the day! Just to get a building permit to put up a machine shed on my farm required the "health" department to come look at my lagoon (its 400 yards away from where I'm putting the shed), the rural water district had to show the people that I owned a water right, the county road deptment had to look to be sure I wasn't putting the building too close to there road and then I had to show the planning and zoning board where the property line was in relationship to where I was putting the building (all sides of the building have to be 20 feet away from the property line).
