Subject: Re: Converting a Slurrystore to grain storage

Leesburg, Ohio
We have one on a rented farm that we use for soybean storage, but it's only a 25' diameter slurrystore. Owner put a regular Harvestor silo roof on it...bolted right up. Cut one side sheet and installed a small bin door from Clayton-Lambert (like a silo door...swings inward). Also cut a hole for an 8" unload auger, a fan, and installed a full aeration floor on metal stands.

I would think a roof for a large commercial bin would work fine, but might be spendy.
