SW KS, near Dodge City | Well, I think you know these a lot better than I do, and I'm with the rest thinking it might be that connection.
Having said that, I've got an N-14 in a '96 truck, and a lot of times when I get in to start it, click. Nothing. Crap. So I went through everything you're going through right now. Took the starter off & had it rebuilt. New batteries, cleaned the connections. Still happens. Crap. So I just leave a ball peen hammer in the truck, and when it happens I just tap on the starter. Fires right off after that.
So my suggestion, if at first it doesn't work, get a bigger hammer. | |
