I would say you are on the right track Boog. My FLD120 did the same thing. Check all the grounds from engine to frame, cab to frame etc.
We took a 4" angle grinder, wire brush or file to clean all these connections bright and shiny.then doped them up in dielectric grease. Some were pretty cruddy.
