Ron, I'm not arguing with you. Trust me. I dealt with the air clutches all spring. I loved them. Only had two fail out of 288. Both were caused by the operators of the planters. The air compressor for down pressure works differently, but could in all essence be used as the compressor for the clutches. Keep in mind however that some areas of the country vary the down pressure of their row units, and if they had that same system hooked up to their clutches you could see failure to disengage or too much pressure being applied and ruining the seals. I really liked Tru Count. In all honesty I'm kind of upset with JD because they should have had this out this year more so that people could see them. People have seen the Tru Count, and until JD can get up to speed, you will see people staying with Tru Count, especially if they have ordered them already and the prices, according to what I've read are comparable if not lower going with the Tru Count.
