Subject: moving equipment and low trees in residential areas

Bartlett TX
I have to go through a small town with equipment. Every farmer in the area uses this street for moving equipment. Over the years the trees have grown and now sag down over the road causing a real problem for driving somehting like a combine or sprayer. We have tried to make the city trim the trees, but they say it is not their problem, they say the trees are on private property and cant do anything about it. Anyone else had any experience with a similar situation? Is there no law about your trees hanging down in the roadway? The trees are so bad on both sides of the road that it is like driving through a tunnel. It is really getting to be a PITA.
