Subject: buying a older combine for seed

Middle Tennessee
In Tennessee with the cost of fescue and Orchardgrass mix or even wheat for grazing going out the roof, we are considering combing 3 to 5 thousand pounds per year of grass seed and maybe 3 or 4 acres of wheat or r.ye for out own needs. 1. Is this a viable idea? If it is what kind of combine and what head? Finally what would I expect to pay. Realize this is out there but got to figure ways to cut cost. By the way, will probably have to cut some for friends.
