Was around 2 pick-ups of the 1988 Vintage: One was a 3500 GMC 2wd Ext. cab with a 454 and an automatic, the other was a F-150 4x4 Reg Cab with a 300-6 banger and a 4 spd. manual. The mileages were the same between the 2 units, as I recall, about 8-10mpg. The GMC had twice the miles and we always thought the Ford should have been painted yellow instead of black. You can guess which one we liked to drive.
