Mid Michigan | Rich my 1988 with the fuel injected 460 came from the factory with the 5 speed. It's still going but I hate the clunky rattley SOB! I always wished it was an automatic. Just a pain in the butt to shift this thing all the time. Automatic would have been nice but after reading all these experiences it probably would have gave me fits. I have used it pretty hard at times but nothing that should have made it so noisey all the time. If you buy it and use it you can always put a c-6 in there. Then it turns into a project truck and nobody wants a fixer upper all the time. | |
