| If you saw an E40d and a C6 side by side, you could tell them easy. The E40d has a HUGE pan compared to the C6. They are still junk though. I had a 93 F-250 with a 351 and the E40D and it was on at least it's third transmission when I got rid of it. Between trans, ball joints, brakes, and on and on I had a new truck payment but I sure didn't have a new truck!!!!! Unless they are giving the truck to you, it would be easier to just find a manual than to try to put one in. Different ECM and lot's of other differences.
