If you are going to change them over ensure you flush the system with a good solvent to rid the oil and junk out of the condenser and evaporator you will be amazed at whets in the system. You will also be happy with the cooling, as it seems to make a very big change.
As mentioned AP air have and change over bracket to fit a sanden compressor these are fitted with dust cover for your application.
We have been doing quite a few hose and pipe changes with the older machines as hoses are getting very old, We use Air-O-Crimp hose and fittings they are good as they are push lock with orings on the hose barb and you can make your hoses without any special crimper just a pair of pincing pliers that most people have, sounds to easy
We keep the pipes in place where they run around the radiator and behind the battery box, we cut the hose off and weld on a male insert oring end this then allows you to fit a hose and the ends are about a $1 usd in your country
I have a diagram and an list of part numbers to do a JD 4040 which will do most of the JD tractors AP have similar type of fittings however the price would have to be checked first .You can download the fitting list of air-o-crimp from their site.
