I know that one of the claimed advantages of strip-till is that it improves the soil, increases organic matter, etc. much like no-till. I also have heard people say to move the rows to the center of teh previous row.
Wouldn't this eventually be close to the equivalent of tilling the entire field every 2 to 3 years?
