Subject: How do you guys soil sample in strip till?

Martinsville, Ohio
I need some info on reduced rates or how rates are calculated for strip till P and K.  I keep reading/hearing about how you can reduce your inputs by 1/3 but never see anything quoted on research or on how this is determined.  Some body has to have done something on this………………….other than farmer testimonial.  George Rehm is often referenced as one who has said that P and K can be cut.

Has anyone figured out how to soil test this?

Thanks,
