| Screens are pretty small on those though, especially showing pictures to folks with bad eyes. I have trouble showing folks pictures on my pocketpc sometimes and it has a 3.7" 640x480 screen. Personal DVD players, especially with 9" screens or bigger would be better, especially with lots of large pics (hard to fit a lot of multi-megabyte 10megapixel photos on SD cards cheaply for photo frames) because dvds are cheap storage. Depends on the number and size of the pix as to what would be handier/cheaper. A used laptop makes a good multi-purpose pic/video shower that can be used for other things as well. The 14-15-17" laptop screens show way more detail than most portable dvd players. | |
