Malheur County Oregon | There are more pivots going in all the time but the main reason is cost of the system. Here too there is usually a house or building right in the way and no one wants to lose the acreage in the corners of their fields. Other reason for us is onions have some real issues with disease being under overhead irrigation. Drip or surface irrigation is the way to go for that.
