Iowa
A lot of landlords dont like trees in fence lines. He sould have the final say, I know some contracts require keeping trees out and the fence line clean . Dozing them makes the farm look better and will do nothing but help both the landload and tenent, in many ways. But yes leave a few posts in. There was a field in my area with no fence and farmer A was farming 60 ft of farmer B's field. They field drive is very wide and they share it. The moving over happend slowly over time and farmer B didnt realize it until he had to drive through farmer A's crop to get to his. Farmer A had to pay survayors to mark the old line. There are 15 ft tall posts every 20 ft marking the line now.
