The utility I work for has 3 Cat 1 MW gensets set up at a landfill to recover the methane. We can only run one at a time, and only for a week or two a month, then have to wait for the methane pressure to build up to a useful level. They are V-12 Cat engines specifically set up to run on "garbage gas".
Anyone have a house that can be taken off the "grid"?
