62 vs 72? Grass seed? I think 62 should be fine. Grass harvest is not a land speed record thing anyway. I have a standard chopper and it is OK for direct seed in 100 bu residue crop. Try the standard chopper if that is what is on a machine before $pending on the fine cut. There are a few other tricks, like all machines, if you buy one.

The thing about the Gleaner is how clean and simple the design is. One parrell shaft gear box. Simple one unloading auger with a u-joint. Reliable engine with COMPETATIVE service and parts from any truck shop. You don't need a manlift to inspect and service. Rotor removal in 15 minutes. Simple reliable hyd system. No flamable soy based parts. Engines and fuel tank are not close to each other. Engine and radiator blow out can be done standing on the ground.
