Argyle, MN
Put in aftermarket fine cut chopper in 1999 R62 last summer. Still had some straw issues in wet or fungicided wheat. No problems in soybeans. I haven't sped up the chopper, but may need bigger bearings. I think the chopper was around 1200 and the Agco complete is around 3500. My setup really didn't take any more hp than a regular chopper. Mechanic thought it may even take less. Dan Hurtt at Hurtt Equipment, Hoople ND, is probobly one of the nations best for getting the most out of a Gleaner.
