The 7x have more power and bigger bin. They have a fine cut chopper as an option but have heard they are having problems with them as new ones do not have them on coming out of factor as I was told. From what I have read and heard do the mods that are out there for them.Spreading the straw and stuff it's soso. It aint to bad depends on size of header
