Rob, Really appreciate yours and others input on crop insurance. In my case I find my corn aph's are 18% above the county ave. and bean aph 21% above county ave. I figure it takes 85% grip on corn and 90% grip on beans to come close to 75% ra and the premium is very little less than raho. I guess grip also seems to me like carrying car insurance that only pays if my neighbor wrecks his car. Also one of the things my agent has never been able to explain to me unrelated to grip is why on some of my farms crc is more expensive than raho. Makes no sense to me.
