Dave, I have an 02 with 70000 on it and no problems. I bought it new and after 10,000 miles it had a knocking sound. Dealer said that was normal "piston slap". They gave me an extended warranty, no charge for 100,000 miles. This fall it wouldn't pull itself down the road at 25 MPH. Put on a new converter and ran as good as new. Good motor and tranny, milage sucks.
