Problem is different people's perception of free play. TMC is the way to go. I see it has changed the torque values, but backoff is the same. There IS more to it, they mention threads/inch on the wall chart we have.

Free play, should be the wheel doesn't always just stop when it quits free wheeling. it should stop then turn backwards just a bit.


sure has changed over the 20 years i have been working on trucks . i like to be precise about things that weigh 80,000 # and go 60 mph . a mis adjusted wheel bearing could get ugly in a hurry.

i feel like im responsible for other peoples life ,i take my job very serious.
