Subject: RE: Thread hijack here

Northern New York
Had one of the mechanics from the Case IH dealer up and he drove it around to test it out for a few hours. Did not put gauges on it or anything then decided that yup it might be the valve. So after he ordered parts and then I ordered parts twice I installed the parts (valve and solenoid). I was using it that day to level fly ash worked fine next day some of the help was out spreading manure. Range pack started slipping so they came back out and put the gauges on it and determine that the clutch was slipping. Now its at the dealer hopefully Ultra Shield is putting in a new reman tranny. Talked to a few people locally and kinda have the opinion that all the driving that was done with the valve not working correctly may have slipped the disks enough to take them out.
