Great Plains is not a part of AGCO. In 1998 or 1999, AGCO was planning to buy Great Plains, but the deal fell through at the last minute. Great Plains has since had very good success, even buying Kent Mfg. a few years later - which is why Great Plains now has a full lineup of tillage equipment - including a tandem disk line that, incidentally, competes head-on with...AGCO's Sunflower.
Anybody use a Sunflower No-till drill?
