North Central Kansas
WE have talked on no till drills several times before.
We have a 750 jd
neighbor has a crustbuster...which is for sale
neighbor has a sunflower
neighbor has a 750 that they modified a bit
it all depends on how much trash you are going through, and the soil condition at planting time. I believe....notice I said "I believe" (that might keep me out of a squabble) If you know the answer the the above, you know what unit is best for you.
I have seen all in action. I would not buy a crustbuster. I have seen too many of them bought, and go back for sale in a year or two.
As far as sunflower vs jd, that would be a toughie to me.
The flower is loacally made...like 10miles from me, (same as the land oll/all/whatever disk..30miles) for you rich
I would not buy a 750 and put extensions on it...that I can recomond!
Both are a very good disk, ask for me to pick which one I would like delivered to my yard for free..... I would have to compare them a bit more jd 1590 vs flower ???
my nickle worth

btw...up late rich
