Subject: RE: Chevy 2500 vs Toyota 1/2 ton

midwest

I just purchased a Toyota a month ago, I have 2,000 miles on it now and am going back to the dealer today or tomorrow and get rid of it!  In my opinion is a big pile of ----!

They are right in saying the gas mileage is bad, i haven't gotten over 11.7 mpg yet, the engine revs to 1800 rpm when first started, and stays there for I don't know how long,  I live up north and there is no heater in it,  the gas guage reads empty when it is half full, the hood flexes about a half inch going down the road,  very uncomfortable,  The ride is not as good as the neighbors new chevy, now that is one biga**ed hood.  I could keep going on and on, but hey, it does have good power and shifts nice.

I am done making impulse purchases on what I have read, I guess there was a reason the salesperson always would go get it and warm it up before the test drives!

So if your looking for a GOOD used one there will more than likly be a 2008 Tundra Limited in South Dakota with 2,000 miles on it.....
