I would worry that you don't have enough moisture to get it to germinate. The limited experience we've had here with is that it has been a near failure if there is no moisture for germination (that was the conditions in last year's drought). Apparently it will do well in dry conditions after that, but, as with all seed it needs some moisture to get going.
