NW Washington | Teff is native to Ethiopia which is a pretty hot and dry place. The seeds are used for human consumption in some parts of the world. I remember some guy around Boise Idaho who was growing Teff for seed some years ago. I think he was a Peace Corps volunteer who discovered the stuff during his travels.
