| The last two years, we've broadcast K and put on P, N, S, and micros in the row, well, about 3x3. Putting down close to 400 lbs. Only downside I can see is quite a bit of stopping to fill. Last year used avail, will use it again this year. We started out with Yetter 2995 openers. After a year junked those and went with Kinze HD no-till openers, what a difference. Great setup. Had to make some offset brackets around the tank on an IH 800 8row, but nothing too substantial. Been able to cut rates about a third on P and N, and can't see any shortages using tissue tests. Also don't see soil test levels dropping. Been on this program for about 10 years now in various forms. | |
