Subject: RE: Talking about Grease.....

NE Mo
A few years ago, one of the oil company rep's told me that Moly coats metal, Graphite fills the pores of metal. JD used to recommend Lithium grease. But Lithium is a soap. I have often thought about this, and have not understood the Lithium recommedation rather than the Moly or Graphite
But I do think most of us would be much better greasing a little less, but more often.. Anyone remember the Multi-Luber on the old JD cornheads, and the grease system on some of the older Gleaner corn heads?
