My dad had a lease where he got 65% of the crop and paid all of the expences. This was 20 years ago. I'm sure if 60/40 what the landlord wants he will get it. I've heard farmers offering 50/50 with the farmer paying all of the expences. Now that dosn't seem right to me. If the numbers are close between this and cash rent I would go cash rent.
