Flour has doubled in price.
Delivery costs have dubled from fuel costs as well.
This has made a 60 cent roll cost $1.00 now.
That is a 40% rise in cost that the consumer sees.
If someone's food bill goes up 40% in one year, you bet they will complain until 'something is done'. Facts be darned.
If those farmers living off of govt handouts would actually produce a crop instead of being paid not to farm, we wouldn't have to go broke buying food. Why should we give 40% more to them when they are living high off the govt handouts? EWG shows us how they get more free money from the govt than I make in a year. Maybe we should make them work for the money. I don't like my food bill going up 40% on top of all the govt taxes I pay just to give to the farmers.
