Subject: Re: crop insurance yield reporting..... moisture???

west Tennessee
Wayne, well can I just report my yields based on the bin measurement instead of delivery reciepts? we measured the bins after puttin the corn in, and for example one bin measured 21,200. the corn was at 15 % moisture. my ins. adjuster even measured it at the time. now I have delivered the corn to the elevator and only delivered 20361, but it was because the moisture averaged 12% instead of 15.. just a question? do you have to use the delivery recipts just because I have them now? if the corn was still in the bin on march 15th I know I would ude the bin measurements to report the yields? Thanks for your info, Dave
