Sac & Story county IA | I had a truck air dryer on my shop compressor. I never did figure out any way to make the drain work as in the truck when compressor turns off. But the dryer worked good. Just had to change elements too often. I think a guy could put the element in an oven at 250 for 4 hours and use it again. I never tried that, I didn't want the wrath of the normal oven operator.
On my 120 cfm compressor, the air/water separator has to be far enough away from the compressor so the water is not steam. You can not filter out steam. Try the truck model. Figure out some way to give that valve a puff of air to drain like on the truck. Solenoid valve, timer, whatever? | |
