<p>Because your compressor is in an unheated place, it may not work to add an auto drain feature on it, but you could add a reasonable size balance tank in your heated shop , up our of the way, with an auto drain feature that could go down a floor drain or be angled to go outside for starters. Maybe you already have this feature<br />We use an Airtec dessicant type dryer.  They do use some air volume to dump the moisture collected, so some cfm is lost, but ours' is tied into the circuitry  so it becomes on demand.  Something like $1200 for use on 2 7.5 hp compressors.  It has been trouble free for 12 years</p>
