Subject: Vapor Barrier and Paper Backed Insulation

Macon, IL
Starting to install insulation on 1st wall in shop. I bought the craft backed insulation but stuff tears easy and lots of cuts necessary the way roll up door falls, etc. Donesn't seem "tight" at all. Thinking I would like the 5ml plastic better now.

Is there any harm if I just put the plastic over the inside before putting up the interior tin? Or will that sort of dual vapor barrier cause a problem?

I hate to return 40 rolls of R19 but don't want to end up with mold someday.

Thougths?
