How about putting up a 30x60 ft or so hoop with bunks down one side. You only need to concrete about 10-12 feet away from the bunks and bed the rest. Serves a lot of purposes at once. Most cattle facilities use a 40-42 ft hoop, but for fewer cattle, you could get by with a few less dollars/sq ft with a 30. You would have pretty high quality manure, and also serve your other objectives. The downside is that you will probably have $200-300 per head in it if you mostly use your own labor to put it together. We are hoping to get one put up this spring yet.
