First I would caution you I'm out of my league ( I'm Dairy), You should really talk to a nutritionist. I think the cows are not coming into milk because of a lack of energy in their diet, mostly due to the weather. the cow's body tells her to save herself first, before producing milk to nurture the calf. If you don't provide adequate energy soon she will not come into milk. A Dairy ration is typically 40% concentrate (corn, soybean meal, etc..), but we're fueling a race car compared to you. I would speculate you'll need to feed some ground shell corn to provide them enough energy in this weather. I would assume that's not what you wanted to hear but, your unfortunate situation makes it necessary to provide more energy, you'll have to sort out your options.
