We ran it last year in western iowa on about 2500 acer of corn on corn. We put 100 lbs NH3 in the fall. The N stripes got 140lbs of 28% at planting so a total of 240lbs. All fields had N strips and all fields had some number of corn. The greenseeker was used on a 4920 with drops and the corn was about 4 to 5 foot tall. All summer you never seen the N rich look differnt. The range of lbs of N was 0 to 100 lbs in the fields the avg. was about 30lbs so the field total was 130lbs on corn on corn. This fall all the N rich strips yielded 0-3bu less I do not no why? It save about 15 to 20 dollars a acre. It was a long summer hoping this all would work. Cutting N rates is scarey and hard to do. Where the greenseeker put 100lbs on was on sand and low spots. Greenseeker and redball are good to work with. I think greenseeker would work good with a manure as a base then follow up with greenseeker. There is still a lot to lean with this.
