Talked to Monty Kerly at MU about it yesterday. You can include it at up to 10% of the ration. Same energy value as corn, basically no protein value. Said rate of gain was unchanged, and feed efficiency was maybe fractionally higher. This summer it was running $.06 a lb. That seemed worth trying. At $.15 a lb, it is just too high. I'm not sure of the cause of the price increase.
