South Central Kansas | Local Coop is 2 miles from the closest field and about 4 1/2 miles from the farthest. We are about 7 to 8 miles from another Coop and 8-9 miles from another. Also a private grain dealer about 7 miles away. We usually go to the first one I mentioned, but once in a while they will have a leg down. Several years ago, they had a little fire in the milo dryer so we hauled to the closest elevator from where we were cutting.
We are lucky to be within 12 miles of about 6 elevators. and within 20 miles of about three more. | |
