I've always felt if the wheat has enough moisture to germinate and it's cooling down to the mid 40's like you say don't worry about it dying. 30 years of planting in all conditions including like you mention and never had a problem yet, maybe happened and not smart enough to know it.
Anybody else out there planting wheat into dust?
